OC Shane Steichen told reporters on Thursday that Chargers wideout Mike Williams "has got that mindset to be ready to play" for their Week 1 matchup against the Bengals. (Gilbert Manzano on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Williams' return to the field for Week 1 should excite fantasy owners, as he will be matched up against a Bengals secondary that ranked third worst (30th) in defensive efficiency and last (32nd) in explosive pass defense in 2019. Between QB Tyrod Taylor's tendency to throw the deep ball and the Bengals porous secondary, don't overlook Williams as a possible Flex play in your lineup.
