Cam Akers rushed 14 times for 39 yards and hauled in his lone target for four yards during the Rams' Week 1 victory over the Cowboys.

Akers took a backseat to Malcolm Brown both in the rushing and receiving game on Sunday, though his 15 total touches were certainly encouraging. The rookie RB appears to be ahead of Darrell Henderson on the depth chart as he works his way back from hamstring injury and should continue to split the workload with Brown moving forward. He is best viewed as an RB3 for the Rams' Week 2 matchup against the Eagles.
