Alexander Mattison flops miserably in Week 6 loss

by Zachary Hanshew | Raiders Correspondent | Sun, Oct 18th 7:41pm EDT

Alexander Mattison rushed 10 times for 26 yards and caught one of two targets for four yards in the Vikings’ 40-23 loss to the Falcons on Sunday.

Fantasy Impact:

Wow. That was … interesting. After going for over 100 yards as Dalvin Cook’s fill-in in Week 6, Mattison flopped in a major way against Atlanta. Facing an 0-5 Falcons team that was apparently fed up with losing, Mattison couldn’t find much running room. It also didn’t help that the Falcons went up 23-0 in the third quarter, and Minnesota was forced to abandon the run. The team will take a bye in Week 7, and Dalvin Cook will presumably be back in the starting lineup for Week 8. Barring another injury to Cook, Mattison should head back to fantasy benches.
