McCaffrey definitely won’t return for Week 7 as he has yet to be activated from IR, and it’s seeming unlikely based on Rhule’s comments that he’ll be back for Week 8 as the Panthers play on Thursday night. McCaffrey’s best bet to return in full capacity could come Week 9 when the Panthers travel to Kansas City to take on the Chiefs. In the meantime, Mike Davis will continue seeing a heavy workload, and makes for a RB1 at least until McCaffrey returns from injury.
