Fantasy Impact
Barkley underwent surgery Friday in Los Angeles to repair a torn ACL in his right knee. “Surgery was a success," Barkley's mother, Tonya Johnson, wrote in an Instagram post. His surgery took place 40 days after suffering a torn ACL on Week 2’s loss to the Bears. He had to wait for Dr. Neal ElAtrrache’s busy schedule, the surgeon and team physician of the LA Dodgers. The Giants star RB is expected to make a full recovery and be ready for the start of next season. Barkley will be intriguing fantasy pick next year in re-draft leagues. Barring a setback in his recovery, he is expected to be selected within the first two rounds of 2021 fantasy drafts.
