Josh McCown signs with the Texans

Veteran QB Josh McCown has been signed by the Houston Texans, effectively leaving the Philadelphia Eagles' practice squad on Wednesday, per source. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
The 41-year old journeyman QB was on the Eagles' practice squad while living in Texas with his family. McCown is now afforded an opportunity to back-up star QB Deshaun Watson, who continues to face pressure due to a struggling offensive line that has already given up 22 sacks this season. McCown's 18 years in the league will allow the Texans to enjoy a competent insurance policy to Watson.
