Heinicke was great in his second career start, throwing under duress often and displaying his mobility on several plays, including an impressive eight-yard rushing touchdown late in the third quarter to give Washington a chance at a comeback in the fourth quarter. Heinicke might have earned himself a contract as a No. 2 option either in Washington or elsewhere heading into the 2021 season.
