Carson Wentz is being valued much higher by Eagles than by interested teams

Carson Wentz (QB - KC)

Zak Keefer on Twitter is reporting that the Eagles are standing firm on their steep asking price for Carson Wentz while teams interested in acquiring the veteran quarterback are not willing to pay up.

Fantasy Impact
During the regular season, NFL insiders were speculating that the Eagles would have to add something to draw interest in a deal for Wentz because of his ugly 4-year/$128M contract. Even after a horrendous 2020 season that inevitably got the fifth-year quarterback benched, the Eagles still think they can get a good haul in return for him. The Rams and Lions made a blockbuster trade for Matthew Stafford and Jared Goff that may have skewed the market value for a quarterback a bit. Reports are that the Eagles are asking for multiple first rounds picks and the only rumor that has involved a first round pick so far was the involving the Bears. They reportedly offered the 20th overall pick along with Nick Foles and Tarik Cohen, who each have heavy contracts of their own. While Adam Schefter reported that a trade would be happening in the "coming days" nearly a week ago, either the Eagles will have to drop their asking price or a suitor will need to pay up. Right now, neither side seems willing to budge.
