Jurrell Casey (biceps) released by Broncos

Jurrell Casey (DE - FA)

The Broncos' defensive cutdown continues. After releasing A.J. Bouye last week, Denver is now parting ways with veteran defensive lineman Jurrell Casey, too. (Denver Broncos)

Fantasy Impact
Casey was traded from the Titans to Denver for a seventh-round pick last offseason. He appeared in just three games before suffering a season-ending biceps injury. He made 14 tackles, including two on the quarterback and one for loss, before being shut down for the year. His absence was felt in a defensive line that also lost Mike Purcell (foot) and Shelby Harris (COVID-19) for a solid chunk of time. The five-time Pro Bowler will look to bounce back as he plays for his third team in three years next season.
