Hilton has been a free agent since the start of the league year and the Colts have expressed interest in other wide receivers on the open market, most recently Sammy Watkins. But Colts GM told Hilton at the beginning of free agency that the team still had an interest in retaining him, and the two sides agreed to a deal on Wednesday. In 2020, Hilton played in 15 games, catching 56 of his 93 targets for 762 yards and five touchdowns with Philip Rivers under center. In 2021, Hilton will be catching passes from Carson Wentz.
