Colbert suffered an injury in Week 5 and wasn't able to return with the Giants until the closing weeks of the 2020 season. The 27-year old safety will join a Patriots defense led by its secondary in Stephon Gilmore and Devin McCourty. Colbert will compete for a starting strong safety position but could end up being used as added depth in the Patriots' secondary, as well as landing a role on the special teams' units in New England for 2021.
