Falcons RB Cordarrelle Patterson rushed seven times for 54 yards while hauling in both of his targets for 13 yards in Sunday's Week 1 loss to the Eagles.

Patterson will operate as the No. 2 running back and gadget player in Atlanta's offense that is still trying to find its way sans Julio Jones. Once Wayne Gallman is acclimated to the offense, Patterson's opportunities as a rusher might diminish. He gets Tampa Bay next week.
