Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tyler Boyd caught 4-of-5 targets for 26 yards and a touchdown in a 26-19 win over the Raiders in the Wild Card round of the playoffs on Saturday.
Boyd came down with a 10-yard touchdown reception in the second quarter to add to Cincy's lead. He may have lucked out as there was an inadvertent whistle during the play, which should have led to the ball being ruled dead instantly. Instead, the officials mistakenly allowed the play to stand. Boyd outproduced Tee Higgins in the Wild Card game but he is usually third in the pecking order in the Cincinnati receiving room. He will not be a strong option next week in the Divisional Round of the playoffs.
