Jamison Crowder has reportedly suffered a broken ankle in Buffalo’s comeback victory in Week 4 and is out indefinitely according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Crowder will undergo further testing to reveal the extent of any other damage to his ankle in the coming days. Fantasy managers should stash him on the IR if they have the ability but if not he can be safely cut. The Bills receiving room is becoming a MASH unit with Isaiah McKenzie (concussion) also leaving in Week 4, Jake Kumerow (ankle) inactive in Week 4, and Gabe Davis missing Weeks 2 and 3 with an ankle injury. Stefon Diggs, Davis, and Khalil Shakir (rookie out of Boise State) are the only three Buffalo wide receivers on track to suit up in Week 5 at the moment. Shakir could make for an interesting flier in DFS lineups if McKenzie and Kumerow are unable to suit up. It more likely means double digits each for Diggs and Davis against the Steelers.
