Russell Wilson truly pitiful in blowout loss
by Dan Tursky | Broncos Correspondent | Mon, Dec 26th 11:16am EST
Russell Wilson ruined Christmas for the Broncos on Sunday, completing just 15-of-27 passes for 214 yards, one touchdown, and three interceptions as Denver was dismantled by the Rams, 51-14.
Fantasy Impact:
Wilson arguably had his worst game of the season on Sunday, which is saying something given how atrocious he has looked through the entire campaign. He threw interceptions on Denver's first two possessions of the game, delivering holiday gifts directly into the hands of waiting Rams' defenders. Wilson was also sacked six times in the affair, showcasing his newly discovered talent of having zero pocket awareness whatsoever any time he touches the football. Wilson was mercifully benched in the fourth quarter giving way to backup Brett Rypien as the game was well out of reach. The Broncos are going to get annihilated by Kansas City in Week 17.
