Cameron Brate expected to be released by Tampa

According to Jeremy Fowler of ESPN, TE Cameron Brate is expected to be released by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as the team continues to try and creat cap space. (Jeremy Fowler on Twitter)

Brate was owed about $5 million and joins OL Donovan Smith and RB Leonard Fournette as Tampa Bay’s cap casualties as the Buccaneers try to create cap space. Brate spent nine seasons with the Buccaneers and scored 33 receiving touchdowns, currently the third most in franchise history. Brate will become a free agent within the coming days and can look for his next team.
