The Houston Texans are signing DT Maliek Collins to a two-year extension worth $23 million. (SportsRadio 610)
Fantasy Impact:
Collins signed a two-year deal with the Texans last offseason, setting him up to be a free agent after the 2023 season. Now, he is locked up through the 2025 season. At the age of 28, Collins enters his third season in Houston with a combined six sacks and 18 tackles for loss in two years with the Texans as a pass-rushing DT. This move likely means that Houston's new defensive-minded head coach DeMeco Ryans has plans for Collins within his defense alongside their new addition, DT Sheldon Rankins.
