Vernon Butler placed on IR, will miss season

According to Field Yates of ESPN, New York Giants DT Vernon Butler is being placed on injured reserve, ending his season. (Field Yates on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Butler spent the majority of 2022 as a free agent before signing with the Giants late in the season and being elevated off the practice squad to play a single game. The 29-year-old DT signed a reserve/future deal with the team for 2023 but will now miss the season on injured reserve. Butler has played seven seasons in the NFL for three organizations, starting 19 games.
