Antonio Allen out for season

New York Jets defensive back Antonio Allen is out for the season after tearing his Achilles' tendon in Thursday's practice. It was initially thought to be a serious injury, and was confirmed with an MRI scan on Friday. (ESPN)
Fantasy Impact:
It is a blow for the New York Jets as Allen was valuable roster depth. But fantasy owners shouldn't have been sniffing around the safety anyway, because it is unlikely that he would have seen the field enough to be a legitimate play.
