Fantasy Impact
As expected, Kirk Cousins looked Garcon's way often throughout the day. The targets and receptions are there for Garcon to have a strong fantasy season, but without DeSean Jackson taking the lid off the defense, Garcon might struggle to get yards after the catch. In the off-season, the coaching staff put an emphasis on keeping Garcon closer to the line of scrimmage to give him more opportunities to catch the ball and run. Through two games we have seen that strategy executed but for fantasy purposes, Garcon's value in PPR formats is much higher than standard.
