Kirk Cousins made plenty of decent throws, but was most effective on play-action passes. It's reasonable to assume that the long-term success of the Washington passing attack seems directly linked to their running game. Cousins could be a decent bye-week fill-in against any marginal defense, but look for him to perform better against defenses that struggle against the run.
