Thompson received his first carries of the season on Sunday against Detroit (3 carries for 11 yards), before leaving with a neck injury. While it is great news that the injury does not appear to be serious, Thompson remains irrelevant in fantasy, as he is firmly behind backup RB Ronnie Hillman and bell cow C.J. Anderson in an offense that relies heavily on Peyton Manning.
