Robert Woods signs one-year deal with Steelers

by Jordan Epp | Steelers Correspondent | Mon, Apr 28th 6:37pm EDT

The Pittsburgh Steelers are signing veteran wide receiver Robert Woods to a one-year contract worth $2 million. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Woods has spent the last two seasons with the Houston Texans, where he caught 60 passes and scored one receiving touchdown. Before that, he spent one season with the Tennessee Titans. While he is no longer in his prime after dealing with injuries (just over 25 yards per game over the last three seasons), he still averages over 10 yards per reception and provides a veteran presence in a receiver room and offense that has a lot of uncertainty.
