Colston Loveland sits out OTA practice

by Bruno Mulé | Bears Correspondent | Fri, May 23rd 9:55am EDT

Colston Loveland did not participate in Thursday’s Bears OTA practice, still recovering from January shoulder surgery, per team reports. The rookie first-rounder, expected to complement Cole Kmet, aims to be ready for training camp by late July. (Kevin Fishbain)

Fantasy Impact:

Loveland’s pass-catching ability and 6-foot-5 frame project him as a TE2 with upside behind Cole Kmet, but his shoulder recovery delays his 2025 redraft value. He’ll likely play a big role once healthy, boosting Chicago’s passing game. For now, he’s a dynasty stash to monitor through minicamp.
