Recently acquired Miami Dolphins safety Minkah Fitzpatrick is receiving a revised deal that adds a $16.245 million signing bonus, providing the five-time Pro Bowler additional security. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Following the trade, Fitzpatrick had no guarantees left on his contract, which was set to expire following the 2026-27 season. As a result, Miami demonstrated its commitment to its newest safety, offering him a higher upfront salary as he looks to thrive in the post-Jalen Ramsey defense. No years were added to his deal, though an extension could be a key talking point next offseason.
