Drew Sanders (foot) out 4-6 weeks

by Jordan Epp | Broncos Correspondent | Mon, Jul 28th 2:22pm EDT

Denver Broncos linebacker Drew Sanders is expected to be out for 4-6 weeks with a foot injury, which turned out to be a ligament injury and not a tendon injury, says head coach Sean Payton. (Mike Klis on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Sanders played in 21 games in his first two seasons with Denver, starting four, all coming in his rookie year. Initial fear of a tendon injury pushed his timeline further back, making this good news for Sanders and the team. He will likely start the season on the physically unable to perform list or short-term injured reserve while he recovers.
