Cleveland Browns cornerback Martin Emerson Jr. is believed to have suffered an Achilles injury at practice on Tuesday, July 29, and will receive additional imaging to determine the severity of the injury. (Mike Garafolo on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Emerson had a strong rookie campaign after being a third-round pick in 2022, but since then, he has struggled a bit at times in coverage, primarily lining up outside. He went down during 7-on-7 and was carted off the field after going down non-contact. He was considered a bounce-back candidate as he entered a contract season.
