Los Angeles Chargers running back Najee Harris was confirmed to have torn his Achilles tendon and will miss the rest of the 2025-26 season. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
The immediate impact of this injury is that rookie running back Omarion Hampton should take over as the team's clear RB1. He had been splitting work with Harris, who has run for over 1,000 yards in every season of his NFL career, but was the clear leader after Harris' injury. Hassan Haskins should factor into the mix, and LA could add a veteran or elevate second-year back Kimani Vidal, but Hampton should lead the way, and Harris is set to be a free agent in 2026.
