Malik Washington contributes on special teams but struggles offensively
by Paul Brenton | Dolphins Correspondent | Mon, Oct 6th 6:20am EDT
Malik Washington caught 4 of 5 targets for 0 total yards in Miami’s 27–24 loss to Carolina.
Fantasy Impact:
Malik Washington was ineffective as a receiver, managing no net yardage despite being targeted five times. However, his involvement on both kick and punt returns kept him active throughout the game returning 4 kickoffs for 98 yards (long of 40) and 3 punts for 29 yards (long of 15). While his return production adds some all-purpose value, Washington has yet to carve out a consistent offensive role in Miami’s passing attack. Until his receiving usage becomes more efficient, he remains off the fantasy radar outside of leagues that reward return yardage.
