Khalil Mack will play again in 2026

Khalil Mack has decided to return to the NFL for a 13th season in 2026. He will forego retirement, explore all options, and should be a big name in free agency this offseason. (Ian Rapoport on X)

Mack is coming off a solid 2025 season with the Chargers that saw him finish with 32 tackles, 5.5 sacks, and six tackles for a loss in 12 games. The nine-time Pro Bowl selection and six-time All-Pro honoree, Mack has played in 179 career games with the Raiders, Bears, and Chargers. He has totaled 113 sacks in his career, finishing with double digits in five of his 12 seasons. Mack will be a priority for the Chargers this offseason to keep him in Los Angeles for at least another year.
