Le'Veon Bell to have a lighter workload in 2016?

by Anthony Cervino | Tue, Jul 19th 8:00am EDT

Pittsburgh Steelers RB Le'Veon Bell spoke to the team's official website on how the club will take advantage of their talented running back duo in 2016. "There are definitely going to be packages where me and 'D-Lo' (DeAngelo Williams) are going to be out there at the same time," Bell said. "I'm ready for that." (NFL.com)

Fantasy Impact:

The Pittsburgh Steelers already employ one of the NFL's deadliest offenses, and in 2016 they may add another dynamic. Le'Veon Bell and DeAngelo Williams will likely be on the field together in select packages which could become a nightmare for opposing defenses as both backs can score anytime they touch the ball. For fantasy football purposes, Bell remains a top five pick in most drafts, but Williams, however, is where the question marks come in regarding his value. Consider Williams as Bell's handcuff in the upcoming campaign who may not only see an increase in playing time but also accumulate starts if the aforementioned Bell is sidelined once again to injury.
