Andre Caldwell placed on the injured reserve list

The Detroit Lions have placed WR Andre Caldwell (hand) on the injured reserve list with a broken bone in his hand. Caldwell is expected to negotiate an injury settlement with the club and could return in 2016 according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Caldwell's outlook for the 2016 season on the Detroit Lions remains grim. The eight-year veteran was placed on IR with a broken hand which opens up the door for Andre Roberts and Jeremy Kerley to compete for a larger role on Detroit's questionable receiving corps in the upcoming campaign.
