It's rare to see a wide receiver see 102 targets in a season, only to be cut the next, but it seems like a realistic possibility for Kearse. If released, the Jets would take no cap hit, and they have a pretty crowded room of wide receivers. He is a veteran presence, but on a rebuilding team, they may lean on others to fill that role.
