Among 59 qualified backs, Herbert ranks 18th in missed tackles forced per attempt and 29th in yards after contact per attempt. After last week, the Denver run defense stats are all askew. Even before last week, it was evident that the Broncos had some holes in their run defense, as they had allowed the seventh-highest missed tackles per attempt and the tenth-highest yards after contact per attempt.
