Edwards has seen his snaps dwindle in his last three games as Mitchell has taken away more of the work weekly. In Week 12, he played only 27% of the snaps with nine touches and 37 total yards. Edwards has been reduced to a touchdown or bust flex play. Edwards has led the backfield with a 53.8% share since Week 10. Among 58 qualifying backs, he ranks 35th in missed tackles forced per attempt and 30th in yards after contact per attempt. Since Week 8, the Rams have allowed the second-lowest explosive run rate, the third-lowest rushing touchdown rate, and the second-lowest yards after contact per attempt.
