Michael Mayer Week 3 Outlook - Raiders at Saints

I'm approaching this week as if Michael Mayer draws another start in Week 3 for the Raiders. Mayer has been rather unimpressive during his run as the Raiders' starter as the TE21 in fantasy points per game. Mayer has had an 18.5% target share, 1.15 YPRR, one red zone target, zero deep targets, and a 10.5% first-read share. Sit him this week against a pass defense that has allowed the eighth-fewest fantasy points per opportunity to tight ends.
