Douglas had a 67.9% route share, a 14.3% target share, one red zone target, and a 16.7% first-read share. Christian Gonzalez could shadow either Caleb Douglas this week. It's also possible that doesn't happen. Last week, Gonzalez only followed Rome Odunze on 40.5% of his routes. Since Week 6, New England has had the third-highest single high rate (66.7%). This season, against single high, Douglas has had a 20% TPRR with 1.96 YPRR. If Douglas doesn't get shadowed by Christian Gonzalez this week, he could have another strong showing. Over their last five games, New England has allowed the sixth-most yards per target and the seventh-most fantasy points per opportunity to perimeter wide receivers.

Douglas found the end zone on a seven yard reception and a 63-yard reception to help pace the Dolphins to their first win of the season. This marked the first game Douglas has played in since suffering an injury in Week 2, and he provided an immediate jolt in the Dolphins' passing attack. Douglas will look to build on this performance against the Patriots in Week 8.
