The Steelers placed Michael Pittman on injured reserve last week with plantar fasciitis. Roman Wilson sustained a hand injury on Sunday, and Ben Skowronek sustained a calf injury. All the injuries to Pittsburgh receivers set up Bernard for a full-time role along with No. 1 receiver DK Metcalf.
Bernard can play inside or outside. He has a well-rounded skill set and is capable of doing damage after the catch. Aaron Rodgers doesn't always mesh with rookies, but Rodgers has praised Bernard.
Check the reports on Wilson's injury early this week, and if it looks as if he'll miss time (early reports suggest he will), consider placing a bid on Bernard.
