View More NewsJalon Daniels is starting off practice on Wednesday as the presumed starter, at least for initial game planning, for Week 7. Baker Mayfield is set to return to practice, and his performance will likely determine which of the two will end up being named the starter against Carolina.
Fantasy Impact
If Mayfield shows enough spark throughout the weeks and few ill effects from his injury, Mayfield will likely start unless the Bucs show an abundance of caution and start Daniels anyway. If Baker can't go, Daniels has shown decent enough ability when rushing to at least give him a floor, but lacks much of a ceiling due to little passing production in each of his three starts.
