Expert Note
View More NotesJ.J. McCarthy has officially become the Giants' starter. This is scary news for managers of Malik Nabers. In a season where odd injuries have clouded his production, he now has to deal with the QB who couldn't even support Justin Jefferson last season. The good news is that McCarthy looked good in relief duties last week. The bad news is that it was against a bad Saints defense and does not make up for the sample size of last season. Still, there is hope that McCarthy has taken a step forward and will continue to feed Nabers and Isaiah Likely. Even though Nabers has seen 35 targets across his last two games, McCarthy going against the Texans' defense scares me. He is a high-upside WR2 in my rankings this week.

Fantasy Impact
It was a favorable gamescript for Nabers with the Giants trailing big on the afternoon. He did not find the end zone, but made up for it yardage wise. He remains a WR1 regardless of the Giants quarterback situation.
