View More NotesWith David Montgomery sidelined with a groin issue, Wood Marks should be Houston's workhorse back. Last week in the final three quarters of the game, Marks played 95.7% of the snaps, with all 13 of the running back rushing attempts after Montgomery left the game. Marks had a 66.7% route share and 11.5% target share in the final three quarters. Marks has been very efficient with his workload this season. Among 42 qualifying rushers, Marks ranks 12th in explosive run rate and seventh in missed tackle rate. Marks will have to rely upon his volume and touchdown equity in the Houston offense this week because he won't find much running room against one of the best run defenses in the NFL. Jacksonville has allowed the second-lowest explosive run rate, the fifth-lowest rushing success rate, and the lowest yards after contact per attempt and missed tackle rate.

Fantasy Impact
Marks had 19 touches on Sunday and he operated as the Texans lead back in 2025, so this is nothing new to him. He's not overly dynamic, despite the coachspeak, but he can get it done for fantasy thanks to volume. He's a low-end RB2, high-end RB3 with the backfield to himself.
