View More NotesIf rookie Jeremiyah Love returns from his ankle injury this week, Bam Knight will have virtually zero fantasy value. But if Love misses a third straight game, Knight could offer flex value at the very least in Week 8.
Knight had 15-80-0 rushing against the Rams in Week 6 and added 2-18-0 receiving. In Week 7, Knight had 7-48-0 rushing and 3-15-0 receiving vs. the Broncos.
Knight has been splitting snaps and touches pretty evenly with Tyler Allgeier while Love has been out, but Knight has been a more effective runner than Allgeier the last two weeks. A near-50/50 share of touches could translate into decent Week 8 fantasy value against a Dallas run defense that ranks 25th in defense-adjusted value over average (DVOA) and 23rd in expected points added per rush.
But again, Love's return could nuke Knight's fantasy value, so do your due diligence on Love's status before bidding on Bam.

Knight averaged 6.9 yards per carry and easily outproduced Tyler Allgeier on the ground, despite Allgeier receiving one more carry. Knight finished with 63 total yards on 10 touches. If this backfield remains split, neither player has a particularly high floor, but Knight was clearly the more effective runner Sunday. So, lean Knight.
