| Derek Brown FantasyPros | Amon-Ra St. Brown has been a no-brainer stud WR1 for fantasy football over the last four years. Since 2023, he has finished as the WR4 in fantasy points per game in EVERY season. Yep, it's true. Last season, among 109 qualifying receivers, St. Brown ranked fifth in target share (28.5%), in receiving yards per game (82.4), yards per route run (2.66), and first-read share (37.4%, per Fantasy Points Data). He was also third in first downs per route run and led all receivers in red zone targets. The red zone work should come down some with a healthy Sam LaPorta for 2026, but St. Brown should still finish with double-digit receiving touchdowns for the fourth consecutive season. St. Brown is a high floor/high ceiling pick again in 2026. | Bucky Irving has dealt with a number of injuries in his short career with a foot sprain and a shoulder/ AC joint sprain last year. Rewinding to 2024, he also dealt with hip, back, toe, and hamstring issues. When he was on the field last year, he averaged 20.3 touches and 86.5 total yards as the RB17 in fantasy points per game. His efficiency suffered massively from the injuries last year after being a wonderous per-touch monster in 2024. Last year, among 49 qualifying backs, he was 43rd in explosive run rate, 35th in missed tackle rate, and 46th in yards after contact per attempt (per Fantasy Points Data). Those dips are explainable, but they are still concerning for a back that is on the smaller side and has been banged up quite often over the last two seasons. Yes, Rachaad White is gone, but Irving will still have to contend with Kenneth Gainwell and Sean Tucker this season on early downs and in the passing game. Irving could be a nice bounce-back candidate in 2026 or a massive disappointment that loses work to Gainwell and Tucker all year. I'll buy the dip if he slips in some drafts, but I won't go out of my way to draft him this season. |
| Andrew Erickson FantasyPros | Amon-Ra St. Brown continued his remarkable consistency in 2025, finishing as a top-3 fantasy WR for the third straight season. The Lions star once again dominated high-value usage, leading the NFL in red-zone targets. Even with Detroit transitioning to a new offensive coordinator in 2026, St. Brown's elite target share and reliable weekly production give him one of the safest floor/ceiling combos at the position. Expect another top-5 fantasy finish from the Sun God. | Bucky Irving had a sophomore season to forget. He was limited to 10 games because of injury - and he was wildly inefficient. He posted the 4th-lowest rushing success rate, finishing third-worst in YPC (3.4). The second-year RB scored one rushing TD in 2025. Even with Rachaad White all but gone in free agency, Todd Bowles' other favorite RB, Sean Tucker, might continue to rear his ugly head again near the goal line in 2026. Not to mention, Kenneth Gainwell will also be vying for targets after signing with TB in free agency. Irving probably wasn't the same guy returning from injury as the first four weeks of the season; he was extremely productive, averaging 15.6 PPG. But after his return, he just had 10.2 PPG playing in a broken Bucs' offense. |
