Marchand was fired up for the game after missing the last two to finish the regular season because of a suspension. His line proved too much for Ottawa eventually, as they came through late in the 3rd period. They wore down the Sens' defense on a long possession shift and Marchand hit an almost empty net to score.
Fantasy Impact
Marchand proved to be clutch again, and along with Rask, he helped steal Game 1 on the road after an 0-3-1 regular season series.
