It was a tough assignment for Dubnyk and the Wild as they played a motivated Red Wings team that was opening the new Little Caesars Arena in downtown Detroit. Dubnyk should have another very good year in net after contending for a Vezina trophy for most of last season posting a record of 40-19-5 after playing in 63 games.
