Tom Kuhnhackl gets assist in Islanders loss

Tom Kuhnhackl got his second assist of the year on Brock Nelson’s first period short handed goal in the Islanders 6-2 loss to the Penguins on Thursday night.
Fantasy Impact:
Tom Kuhnhackl appears to be getting time on a line with Mathew Barzal and Anthony Beauvillier which could help his anemic point totals (3 goals and 2 assists in 17 games). Kuhnhackl typically is on the third or fourth line or even a healthy scratch. With this pairing with offensive-minded forwards Kuhnhackl could exhibit some of the offensive skills he has shown in the OHL and AHL but until it is clear that he is getting consistent time with Barzal and Beauvillier it is best to leave him on the waiver wire.
