Jonathan Bernier allowed four goals in the Red Wings-5-4 shootout victory over the Lightning on Sunday. He saved 33-37 shots against in the win. Bernier improved his record to 12-21-3 with a 2.90 GAA and a .908 SV%.

Bernier has been the best Red Wings’ goaltender and will continue to be in the crease night in and night out. Bernier is an average goalie on a terrible team. He should be started going forward because he should see every start outside of back-to-backs.
