Brandon Saad found the back of the net on Thursday helping lift the Avalanche to a 4-2 road win over the St. Louis Blues. He put up a goal, a plus-1 rating, 2 PIMs and one shot.

St. Louis was attempting to clear the zone and Tyson Jost knocked the puck down with his glove only to recover it in the corner. He found Saad hanging out in front of the net and received a nice backhand pass. Saad manufactured a single-deke in close which was enough to open up Jordan Binnington and give the Avs a lead they wouldn't relinquish. He's up to fifteen goals and 24 points this year. His veteran presence will surely help the Avalanche in the post season.
