With Igor Shesterkin starting the first half of the Rangers' back-to-back last night against the Avalanche, it's not a surprise to see Halak going tonight. Halak has made two starts this season, getting torched for a 4.03 GAA and .852 Sv% in that time. The veteran last started Sunday against the Blue Jackets, yielding five goals on just 21 shots. His starts will be few and far between behind the reigning Vezina Trophy winner.
