Felix Sandstrom struggled in net for the Flyers Wednesday night, allowing five goals on 44 shots faced in a 5-2 loss to the Maple Leafs.
Sandstrom has done little to instill confidence in head coach John Tortorella operating as the No. 2 netminder in Philadelphia, allowing four or more goals in two of three starts in the crease behind Carter Hart. The 25-year-old offers little value to fantasy owners outside of a potential injury to Hart and is best left on waivers at this point. Sandstrom carries an underwhelming .894 save percentage and 3.78 GAA in three starts (0-3-0) so far this season.
